Kenneth Silverman - 
Chairman and CEO
Ken formed The Silverman Group following his sale of Silver Line Building Products Corporation in 2006. At the time of the sale, Silver Line was the largest vinyl window manufacturer in the United States and the leader in its field. Ken plans to make The Silverman Group a major player in the private equity and real estate arenas.

When Ken assumed the leadership of Silver Line in 1984, the company had 50 employees and a single plant. By the time Ken sold his solely owned and privately held company in July 2006, it had 8,000 employees with plants in New Jersey, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Ohio, Texas and North Carolina. Over that time period, Silver Line received numerous honors including being named Home Depot Vendor of the year for six consecutive years! In addition, the Company received honors from well respected lumberyards such as 84 Lumber and Strober.

The Silverman Group’s real estate portfolio includes commercial, office and industrial buildings across the United States. Additionally, the private equity division of The Silverman Group seeks investment opportunities in areas in which Ken has a wealth of executive experience including the building products and consumer products fields. Ken intends to develop relationships with entrepreneurs who have the same type of initiative and drive that he does, believing his team can add to the growth of new ventures.

Mr. Silverman graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Business and Finance. Over the years Ken became active in many community and charitable causes. He presently sits on the Advisory Board of Surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce. He and his wife, Claudia, reside in New Jersey. Both his children, Britany and Blake Silverman are executives with The Silverman Group.

Mr. Silverman sits on the board of Gotham Greens, which designs, builds and operates commercial scale green house facilities in urban areas for fresh vegetable production. Gotham Greens’ pesticide-free produce is grown using ecologically sustainable methods in technologically-sophisticated, climate- controlled rooftop greenhouses.
Blake Silverman - 
President
Along with his father, Blake founded The Silverman Group and presently focuses on the core business interests evaluating new real estate and private equity opportunities. He also oversees the property management, leasing and construction of the Silverman Group. On a daily basis, Blake helps to seek private equity investments in the industrial sector and commercial real estate acquisitions. He also analyzes the risks and returns of different investments and examines the performance of prospective property types in order to determine if they would be lucrative investments.

Before the Silverman Group, Blake worked for his father as the Director of Business Development at Silver Line Building Products. Silver Line was the largest manufacturer of vinyl windows and doors sold through retailers and lumberyards across the country. As director of business development, he spent a great deal of his time learning the many aspects of the manufacturing business; from sales to production to purchasing. He also spent some time in the private Bank of Merrill Lynch and the mezzanine finance group and Brown Brothers Harriman. Blake is a graduate of Bucknell University with degrees in Business Administration and History. He resides in New Jersey with his wife, Tracy.

Blake sits on the board of The Foundation of the Morristown Medical Center.
Mark Steinbauer - 
Vice President of Real Estate
After 34 years of service, Mark Steinbauer, Vice President of Real Estate, passed away on September 23, 2014. We remember our friend and colleague with gratitude and great affection. His hard work and dedication to the business have made a lasting impact on our company. He is dearly missed by everyone whose life he touched.
Philip Arem - 
Vice President and General Counsel
Phil joined Silver Line Building Products Corporation in 1998 as Corporate Counsel and Vice President. In that capacity he had oversight responsibility for all legal matters including litigation management, contract review, employment practices, intellectual property and corporate compliance. Previously, he was Assistant Corporate Counsel to The Money Store, Inc.

As General Counsel to The Silverman Group, Phil heads the legal team and is the in-house counsel for all real estate and related transactions as well as litigation oversight, corporate matters, contracts and all other legal issues.

Phil is a graduate of the State University of New York at Binghamton. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and graduated with high honors. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Bridgeport School of Law in 1985 and is a member of the New Jersey Bar and the United States District Court. Phil and his wife reside with their two children in East Brunswick, N.J.
Toby Nelson - 
Vice President - Leasing
Toby Nelson has been a real estate professional since 2005. As Vice President of Leasing, Toby oversees all of the leasing activities of the Silverman Group’s portfolio, which consists of over 9 million square feet of Commercial Office/Industrial, Aircraft Hangars and Retail Assets. The portfolio is primarily located along the eastern seaboard. Toby is also heavily involved on a daily basis with respective leasing agents and managing relationships with the brokerage community. A majority of his time is devoted to tenant relations and retentions.

Prior to joining the Silverman Group, Toby was Vice President at The Garibaldi Group/CORFAC International (2005-2010) where he was involved in market research, new business development, tenant representation and project leasing of both commercial industrial as well as office assets.

Toby is a graduate of Fairfield University. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and is a New Jersey licensed real estate broker under SL Real Estate Services LLC. He resides with his wife Britany and three children in New Jersey.
Scott Fisher - 
CFO
Scott joined The Silverman Group in 2007 and is responsible for financial management, general accounting and budgeting activities for all properties owned by the firm. Prior to joining The Silverman Group, Scott was an Assistant Controller with Silverstein Properties Inc. and was the Controller for the Eastern Region with Broadway Real Estate Services in New York City.

Scott has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Hofstra University. He is a member of both the American Institute and the New York Society of Certified Public Accountants. Scott and his wife reside with their two children in Monmouth Junction, N.J.
Dan Lacz - 
Vice President - Development and Construction
Dan Lacz, Vice President of Development and Construction, oversees real estate investment and development opportunities within The Silverman Group's focused markets. With over 15 years of commercial real estate and investment banking experience, Dan has managed over $650MM of transactions, concentrated in the industrial, residential and brownfield redevelopment sectors. His responsibilities include site selection and investment due diligence, entitlements and land use planning, and oversight of the platform's commercial real estate investments with The Silverman Group's in house design and construction team.

Dan holds Bachelor's and Master’s of Science degrees from Boston College and resides in Morris County, NJ with his wife and five children.
Jimmy Constantakis - 
Vice President - Facilities and Maintenance
For the past 6 years, Jimmy has been the driving force responsible for building and overseeing the firm's facilities management team across its portfolio. His responsibilities include overseeing a complete facility/asset management team, service and maintenance, due diligence studies, sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives, capital planning and development, energy management, and other associated departments.

Mr. Constantakis began with The Silverman Group as a mechanical contractor in 2007 where he along with his team serviced and maintained several New Jersey locations for The Silverman Group. He later joined the firm and began his tenure as Director of Facilities in 2010. Mr. Constantakis was promoted to VP of Facilities in 2014. In the same year, Mr. Constantakis was assigned an additional role of overseeing one of our subsidiaries, C&R Property Management, our residential management division with respect to facilities. Mr. Constantakis holds multiple mechanical certifications and licenses.

Jimmy resides in Flemington, NJ along with his wife and son, he enjoys the outdoors and bee keeping.
